Social Services

givingEmergency Assistance: The Emergency Assistance Program is an integral part of The Salvation Army, providing services to families on an emergency basis. These services provide aid for families who need rent, utility, clothing, food or other required assistance. Caseworkers or volunteers meet with families to assess their needs.
Additionally, gifts and food during the Christmas holiday are provided for nearly 1,000 families seeking assistance. Please call 417-624-4528 for assistance.

Disaster Services: The Salvation Army is often the first to respond when disaster strikes and the last to leave, honoring a century old commitment to help those in need, at the time of need and at the place of need. Our volunteers provide physical and spiritual comfort to those whose worlds are crumbling around them and help them put the pieces of their shattered lives back together.
